What is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC)?
Certified Mental Performance Consultants® (CMPCs) are certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and specialize in training athletes and performers to develop the mental skills necessary for peak performance. Dr. Brooke Rundle is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and has a doctorate in Sport & Performance Psychology.
Can I access mental consulting if I live outside of Colorado?
Yes! There are no geographical limitations to mental coaching for atheltes. As a mental performance consultant, I virtually work with athletes and performers across the country and around the globe.
How much does it cost and is it covered by insurance?
Costs vary depending on the length of sessions. Unfortunately, mental performance consulting and mental coaching for athlete services are not covered by health insurance. Payment can be made by cash, check, Paypal, or Venmo. Sliding scale options are available for those qualify.
How often and for how long are sessions?
Individual mental performance coaching or consulting sessions are typically 45-50 minutes on average. The frequency of the sessions depends on your performance goals, competition schedule, availability and needs. I encourage athletes and performers to start by committing to at least 4 weekly sessions.
